The Deerfield Valley Inn was everything we were looking for and more. Our family of eight adults, four teenagers, and two under threes had plenty of room, including bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The dining room allowed for an arrangement that enabled us to create a table arrangement that accommodated every person in the family. Everything was clean, accessible, and well organized for a large family. And OZ, the caretaker, was the best!! Non-intrusive but there every time we had a question or need. As our nearly three-year-old granddaughter stated, 'We love our VT house.
Really really beautiful escape with a lot of beautiful nature and privacy. The house was amazing. The pool was amazing and the hot tub. Everything was clean and organized. We had an amazing time for sure will be back. I will give it 7 stars if I could.
Our family party of 12 adults, one teenage, 2 children and a 1yr old found the place extremely comfortable. Everyone got a private bedroom and bathroom (no large bunk rooms), and there were bedrooms of all sizes for our families. The dining room was great for family meals and the kitchen was accommodating for creating those meals.
Our family was up in West Dover, VT for the purpose of skiing up the road at Mt. Snow- and the short drive up the street for skiing made it a great location. There were lots of restaurants nearby if you prefer to eat out.
The onsite property manager was a big help!
Very spaced-out and comfortable house – excellent for our group skiing vacation. The location is perfect - the house is within 10 min drive to Stratton and 15 min drive to Bromley. There is a ski shuttle to Stratton, which is a big plus! The kitchen is very well equipped. Hot Tab is a treat and very well made, especially after a day of skiing. All the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels provided. there was plenty of firewood provided for almost the entire stay. The driveway was cleaned and Oguz was always available for any questions.
Overall, we had a very nice skiing family vacation. Thank you Gulru for letting us stay in your house, and thank you Oguz for taking care of our group.
This was a truly amazing stay! We had 16 people and there was more than enough space. The property owner was fantastic to deal with and wanted to make sure our stay was the best it could be. The location was excellent for our ski weekend at Mount Snow and after getting a foot of snow while we were there, the property owner made sure the parking spots and property was cleared after the storm. The Inn was everything you would expect from a historic Vermont property. Having a person onsite was very helpful and only enhanced the stay. I would highly recommend this property to groups of all sizes. The property owner made you feel totally at home. Great Place!!! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Perfect location with close proximity to Stratton and Manchester, VT. Gulru was incredibly responsive and proactive with instructions. The house was beautiful and great for a group of 8.
We rented the entire Inn for a family Thanksgiving weekend. Cozy living room with fireplace to gather, clean rooms/comfortable beds each with its own bathroom and a dining room that sat 16 for dinner. Great Inn with character and charm! Oguz was accommodating and a wonderful host. Already planning a return trip to the Deerfield Valley Inn for our next family gathering in 2023!
